WRITING DURING A PANDEMIC

It's July 1, 2020. I can hardly believe it. When I started writing my 1st book I was living in Punta Gorda, Florida. The year was 2016. We have since moved to Ruskin, Florida, an hour or so up the coast, near Tampa.

I love it here. We overlook a golf course next to a preserve. We see plenty of wild animals and birds wandering the neighberhood. Our dog loves it, too. He has even learned to bark at golfers only when they cross the line to look for their missing golf balls. Once they're on our property, he barks to let us know.

It's a regular community, meaning all ages, and we love it. We're from Maine and they had just started building 55+ communities when we left. I'm sure my beautiful State is now covered with them.

Now, I have just finished writing two books and I'm preparing them to be published. Book 4 of the Gulf of Maine Mysteries Series is titled
"A Winter Kill.  Book 5 is titled" Young  Beautiful  and DEAD".
I still sell them on Amazon.com.

The setting is Deanes Island, a fictional island off the Maine coast from Portland, Maine. I grew up in Southern Maine and I still love the area. Although I have left the State of Maine for Florida, I still live there in my mind.
